Script-In-Hand Contest

 Ready, Set, But Read This, Before You Submit

The Writers Place is excited that you are considering applying to our Script-in-Hand contest-but before you do, please review the following guidelines. Submissions that don’t meet these criteria risk disqualification.

Submissions must:

*Run approximately ten minutes long

*Include a cover sheet with the play’s title, author’s name, and contact information

*Use a standard play format (found on https://share.google/.649ro1AQy815itOK6)

*Be submitted as a PDF or Word Document

*Include numbered pages

*Include a synopsis

*Use 12pt Times Roman or Courier font (preferred)

*Minimize cast and sets as this is a reading, not a production
