KCUR FM (89.3)
NEW LETTERS ON THE AIR
Sundays, 6:00 AM
816-235-1159
E-mail: OnTheAir@newletters.org

Schedule and info: www.newletters.org

Available to over 400 public radio stations nationwide, New Letters on the Air is public radio’s longest-running literary program, and is a production of New Letters, a magazine of new writing, published at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Every week New Letters on the Air features intimate conversations with contemporary writers who reveal secrets about their creative methods, read a few favorite passages, and inspire the listener's imagination.

Hosted by Angela Elam, the show is part interview and part performance as the featured guest reads from his or her work. It's really about transforming life into something creative; the writers who appear on the program will inspire others to do something creative in their own way.

Past programs are available on cassette and CD.  Visit the web site at www.newletters.org/OnTheAir.asp to place an order or to hear the previous week’s program.  For more information, please contact Angela Elam or Dennis Conrow.
