KC Creates is proud to present the 13th Annual KC Fringe Festival. Our city is full of artists, writers, actors and musicians. This year’s Festival boasts 89 different performing groups and films with a total of 435 performances and 27 Visual Artists in 17 venues . Our Teen Fringe program is exploding as we partner with Young Audiences and the Nelson Atkins. As we continue to grow and change, the Fringe Festival will continue to play an integral role in enriching our arts and our community.

Prove Me Wrong Nick Nickerson I recently had an "epissany" that changed my life. It was an awful revelation around white privilege and personal racism that left me stunned, then pissed. I was convinced that what I'd realized couldn't be true so I went off to prove myself wrong. Annoyingly, over the next several months, all I managed to do was further support my first "epissany." During all of this, I was left with the knowledge that I was in a unique position to share a different social outlook. This is my first experiment at learning to meaningfully share.
