The Directory of Freelance Writers and Related Freelance Talent in Metropolitan Kansas City is part of the ongoing mission of The Writers Place to promote writers and their work.
 

It contains a categorized listing of not only freelance writers but also of editors, proofreaders, graphic designers, photographers and others who play an integral role in writing projects.
 

The Directory is a valuable resource, especially for not-for-profit organizations and small businesses that require professional writing services but cannot afford to keep such talent on staff.

There are four ways to find the professional writing and related freelance services you need.

1. Table of Contents -- The section is divided into three major categories:  Nonfiction, Creative Writing and Writing Support Services.  Each category contains a list of the writing and related services available from area freelancers.
   

2. Freelance Writing & Related Services -- This section divides the major writing categories – Nonfiction, Creative Writing and Writing Support Services – into various subcategories.  Each subcategory contains the names of freelancers who provide that service.
 

3. Professional Profiles -- This section contains the professional profiles, organized alphabetically, of all freelancers in the directory.
 

4. Index List -- The index section contains a detailed, alphabetized listing of all writing and related freelance services included in the directory.
