GETTING YOUR WORK NOTICED: AN EDITOR'S VIEW

Dr. Katie Manning, founding editor-in-chief of Whale Road Review, will share everything she knows about submitting creative work for publication, including revising, finding the right venues, tracking submissions, and more. There will be time after the presentation for questions and one-on-one consultations.

Manning is the author of Tasty Other, which won the 2016 Main Street Rag Poetry Book Award. She is also the author of four chapbooks, including A Door with a Voice (Agape Editions) and The Gospel of the Bleeding Woman (Wipf & Stock), both of which she has enjoyed promoting in her Jesus costume. She has received The Nassau Review Author Award for Poetry, and her writing has been published in Fairy Tale Review, New Letters, Poet Lore, So to Speak, Stirring, Verse Daily, and many other journals and anthologies. Members $40. Non-members $60.
