 MARYFRANCES WAGNER  Maryfrances Wagner has eight collections of poetry and has edited three anthologies including  The Whirlybird Anthology  of Greater Kansas City writers.  Her work has appeared in many literary magazines, anthologies, and textbooks.  Her latest book is  The Silence of Red Glass , and she is currently working on a New and Selected collection.  She is Co-editor of  I-70 Review  and an avid lover of dogs.  Along with her husband Greg, she lives with two rescued dogs, Annie Sexton and Sylvia Plath.

Austin University Press).  Other b  ooks include  The Narrow Gate: Writing, Art & Values  (essays, Serving House Books, 2014),  Outside Language: Essays .   Plumbers  (poems, was reissued in revised paperback in 2017), and a recent chapbook of poems  Chickenhood .  He is editor of  New Letters  magazine at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, where he teaches in the M.F.A. Program in Creative Writing & Media Arts.  He has won a National Magazine Award from the American Society of Magazine Editors.
