The Writers Place welcomes Theodore Wheeler, Andrés Rodríguez, and Jameson Bayles.
Theodore Wheeler is the author of the novel Kings of Broken Things (Little A, 2017) and a collection of short stories, Bad Faith (Queens Ferry Press, 2016). His short fiction has appeared in Best New American Voices, New Stories from the Midwest, The Southern Review, Boulevard, and The Kenyon Review, among others. He lives in Omaha with his wife and their two daughters, where he covers a legal and politics beat as a reporter and teaches creative writing at the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
Andrés Rodríguez is the author of Night Song (Tia Chucha Press) and Book of the Heart (Lindisfarne Press). In 2007 he won Poets & Writers’ Maureen Egan Award for poetry. He has an MA (Creative Writing) from Stanford University and a Ph.D. (Literature) from the University of California-Santa Cruz. He lives in Kansas City.
Jameson Bayles' work has been published in numerous literary journals and magazines; most recently in Poems-For-All, Hedgerow, The Ambriel Revolution, and on Rumrazor.com. He has been published in ten books. Currently, his work can be found in the collaborative reader “A Case For Ascension” (Asinimali Publications, 2015), the 2016 Hessler Street Poetry Fair Anthology (Crisis Chronicles Press) and "Delirious- A Poetic Celebration of Prince" (Night Ballet Press, 2016). Jameson resides in Kansas City, Missouri and is a roving correspondent for Poetrybay
