Patricia Lockwood, memoirist and poet, will join us for a visit to debut of her new book, “Priestdaddy,” described as a heartbreakingly funny memoir about having a married Catholic priest for a father. She has previously published two poetry collections. Her work has appeared in The London Review of Books and The Best American Poetry. A regular contributor to The New Yorker, she also won a Pushcart Prize in 2015. This event is co-sponsored by The Writers Place of Kansas City and Rainy Day Books. This event is intended for adult audiences. A book sale and signing will follow. Registration is required.
