This session will explore how a writer makes use of first-person notes, drafts, journal entries, free-writing exercises and other methods to generate a strong, moving and honest first-person work of writing. We will explore literary examples, participate in low-key writing exercises and enjoy good company. Writers can use these techniques in any genre they choose: biography, family memoir, short story, poetry, essay.
Lunch will be provided.
