Riverfront Readings presents Jeanie Wilson and Susan Whitmore.

Jeanie Wilson Jeanie Wilson’s poetry and short stories have appeared in various literary journals and anthologies. Her book, Uncurling, was published in 2000. Jeanie has presented her poems at numerous readings and other venues, including on radio and television programs. In 2006 Mid-America Press published a book of poetry—The Door into the Dream—co-authored by Jeanie and her husband, Thomas Zvi Wilson. The Kansas City Star listed it as one of 100 Most Noteworthy Books for 2006. Jeanie hosts the Thomas Zvi Wilson Reading series co-sponsored by The Writers Place and Johnson County Central Resource Library. She serves as an Emeritus Board Member for The Writers Place.

Her poetry has also appeared in Georgia Review, Georgetown Review, I-70 Review, Melusine, New Letters magazine and Poet Lore, among others. She is Vice President of Development of First Call, a nonprofit organization in Kansas City, Mo.
