Katie Bickham earned her MFA from Stonecoast at the University of Southern Maine and currently teaches creative writing at Bossier Parrish Community College in Louisiana. She is the winner of the Lena-Miles Wever Todd Poetry Prize from Pleiades Press and the Jeffrey E. Smith Editor’s Prize from The Missouri Review. Her work has appeared in Pleiades, The Missouri Review, Prairie Schooner, Deep South Magazine, and elsewhere. Katie lives in Shreveport, Louisiana, with her husband and son in a very old house.
Tina Hacker’s full-length poetry book, Listening to Night Whistles, was published in May, 2014. She also has a chapbook titled, Cutting It, released in late 2010. A four-time Pushcart Prize nominee, Tina was a finalist in New Letters and George F. Wedge competitions and Editor’s Choice in two literary journals. Her work has appeared in numerous print and online publications including Bellowing Ark, Kansas City Voices, Coal City Review, and I-70 Review, and in anthologies such as The Whirlybird Anthology of Kansas City Writers. Her poems about Golems are serialized in the online site, Quantum Fairy Tales. Tina is a former Co-president of The Writers Place and Vice-President of the Midwest Region for Women in Communications. Since 1976, has been poetry editor for Veterans Voices, a journal of writing by hospitalized and recovering vets. She lives in Leawood, Kansas, with her husband Lynn Norton, who is a sculptor and excellent editor.
