Wayne Courtois is author of the award-winning memoir A Report from Winter, the literary novel Tales My Body Told Me, and the gay erotic novels My Name Is Rand and In the Time of Solution 9. His fiction, nonfiction, and poetry have appeared in many anthologies and journals.

Charles Ferruzza was born and raised in Indianapolis, Ind. He ran away from home many times during his youth, only to be returned against his will. Finally, in 1984, he ran away to Kansas City and has been here ever since. The former features editor of the Sun Newspapers for 16 years, Charles has been a staff writer at The Pitch since 2000. He has written for many publications and can be heard on the radio on KCUR-FM and KKFI-FM.
