Korean-born American writer Maija Rhee Devine is the author of an autobiographical novel/love story, The Voices of Heaven, and a poetry chapbook, Long Walks on Short Days.  Honors include an NEA grant, and the long list for The 2014 Chautauqua Institution Book Award.

 Stephen Meats is poetry editor of The Midwest Quarterly. He has published a book of poems, Looking for the Pale Eagle, and a mixed-genre book of stories and poems, Dark Dove Descending and Other Parables. Meats retired in May after 35 years at Pittsburg State University, Pittsburg, Kansas, as Chairperson and Professor Emeritus of English.
