Artist Statement:
Wind/Mind refers to my work and working methods. In my notebook, when I have it open and don't know what to draw or whatever, I tend to quickly write these words in cursive, to where the two emerge as the same work through the messiness of my script. Wind has been a focus on my work for many years and in some ways, I feel like my methodologies as an artist tend to place my mental state, while working in a rather free manner. In this sense, my mind moves along with the work like the wind moves along.

May 25, 2008 - Artists' talk with Robert Heishman - 7:00 p.m.
